No HBS
The other day, I received official word that I have not been accepted for the Harvard Business School PhD program to which I had applied. I’m ok with that result. I thoroughly enjoyed the application process, and, along the way, I learned some interesting stuff about myself. I am also happy to report that the application process gave me an opportunity to model some important behavior for the 16-year-old Foster Youth kid that I mentor. As a result, he’s much better prepared to apply to college next year.
I wasn’t really expecting to be admitted… but you never know if you don’t try. Perhaps life has other things in mind for me!
So I guess I won’t be rubbing shoulders with Tyra Banks. Oh boy, that made me chuckle!
