Email (Mis?) Management

You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting one of my email accounts. I have 9 different major email accounts. Notice I didn’t write email addresses… that’s because I’m not counting total aliases. I’m just giving you the total number for what comes after the @ symbol in an email address (example: alias@emailaccount.com)

So what’s up with all this noise? Well, I have a lot of net identities. There are all of my personal domains(5), job-related accounts(2), a gmail acct, and a yahoo acct.

Everything was fairly well managed for a while. I had most of everything funnelling into the gmail acct, then had the work email… so effectively I had 2 major email programs to manage. But, in the past couple of weeks, that has temporarily jumped to 4.

It’s really too much. I don’t know which email I am sending from or should be receiving into anymore. Frankly, I am getting a little scatterbrained about the whole thing. Good thing it is temporary.
