After over 10 years of a warm and loving relationship (1997 - 2008), Michael and I have mutual agreement to call it quits. As always, this is a low-drama household. We still like and respect each other. We want good things for each other's future, but recognize that future won't be together.
Over the next few days, we'll be finalizing the particulars of the physical separation, Michael is contemplating moving to either Seattle (city side) or possibly back to Ohio. I will stay on in the current Bellevue apartment to finish out the terms of the lease.
We'd like to take a moment to acknowlege all of the people who have befriended us as a couple all these years. Thanks for your friendship. We want to assure you that you don't have to choose between us as friends, since we bear no ill will toward each other and will be comfortable with each other in social situations. Also, we want to thank you, in advance, for your support during this transition period. It will not be easy, but we feel it is for the best.
